Lavandula angustifolia, is an aromatic flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region (Greece, Italy etc.). It is known as true lavender or Greek lavender or simply lavender.
USES: In massage therapy, the essential oil of lavender when diluted with a carrier oil, is useful for muscle relaxant and treating minor burns. In aromatherapy, it is commonly used as a relaxant. It is also used as a prevention against clothing moths.
Suggested Use: Dilute 2 to 4 drops in 1 fluid ounce of water or other liquid and mix, for topical or total body massage therapy or aromatherapy.
